By accessing or using CameraRental.in ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform. These terms apply to all users including customers, vendors, and visitors.
CameraRental.in is a marketplace that connects customers looking to rent professional camera equipment with verified vendors who own such equipment. We facilitate bookings, payments and communication between both parties but are not responsible for the condition of equipment unless stated otherwise.
You must create an account to rent or list equipment. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration. Users must be at least 18 years old.
Bookings are confirmed only after vendor approval and successful payment. Rental periods begin and end at the times agreed upon during booking. Late returns may incur additional charges at the vendor's discretion. The customer is responsible for the safe custody of equipment during the rental period.
A refundable security deposit is collected at the time of payment. The deposit will be returned to the customer's original payment method within 5-7 business days after the equipment is returned in satisfactory condition. Vendors may retain part or all of the deposit for damages or late returns.
All payments are processed securely through Razorpay. CameraRental.in charges a platform fee on each successful transaction. Vendor payouts are processed within 7 business days of booking completion, minus the platform fee. All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes.
Cancellation policies vary by vendor. Generally, cancellations made 48+ hours before the rental start date receive a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours may be subject to a 50% charge. No-shows are non-refundable. CameraRental.in reserves the right to cancel bookings in exceptional circumstances.
Vendors are responsible for ensuring equipment is in proper working condition before rental. Customers must inspect equipment at pickup and report any pre-existing damage immediately. Customers are liable for any damage caused during the rental period beyond normal wear and tear.
Users may not use the platform to rent equipment for illegal activities, sublease equipment to third parties without vendor consent, provide false information, manipulate reviews or ratings, or engage in fraudulent transactions. Violations may result in immediate account termination.
CameraRental.in is not liable for equipment malfunction, loss of business due to equipment failure, theft of rented equipment, or disputes between customers and vendors. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific rental transaction.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email.
